Indecipherable
We say beginning and we say end.
The moon floats about an unintentional sky.
We say here, we say this,
We say come here, come here and take this.
Come here and take me. Come here and make this.
Come here and make me. Make me more than this.
We say these things without meaning them.
We say these things above all because we don't mean them.
We say these things because we are unintentional people
with wholly indecipherable thoughts.
The moon sits up there dumb and heavenly and bright.
We say these things like black leather boots,
like we never knew this, like we were never there
or less or made.
We say these things because we savor the violence.
Meaning to violate, to disturb,
to glimpse the delicate re-fumbling of another egoZ
and wonder at its becoming.
ZThis being an assumed re-working of the word violent
from the similar sounding violate.
We assume they are related, even interchangeable.
We don't bother to get a dictionary.
We assume the word can be re-figured
And assume others will know what we mean
When we use it strangely,
In this way we are violent.
