one year old as of yesterday
Didn't think I'd make it this long . . .
But then I never thought I'd live past, say, 30 either. Not for any good reason. Just couldn't picture it. I wonder if this says anything about my tendency to predict doom & gloom just over the horizon . . .

Happy Blogday! I am very glad you're on the block, a porch light on, and a beat-up couch.
I share your propensity for horizontal doom, and I awaken astonished every morning that we haven't all been vaporized in some unspecified calamity.
